Great Broasted Chicken Dinners Trip Leg 1 Dayton to Richards Family Restaurant Auburn, IN Trip Leg 2 Richards Family Restaurant Auburn, IN to Bel Aire Motel Go north through Dayton, OH on I-75. Distance is about 340 miles or 6 hours from Dayton, OH Take Exit 110 (Just south of WAPAKONETA, OH). Take Ohio Route # 33 (WEST) About (33.7 miles) to: Ohio Route #127 North (Turn to your right at this intersection. There is a traffic light here. There is a truck stop on the far right corner (North-west corner). Go about 18.7 miles (on map) (16 miles by my vehicle odometer) to and through Van Wert. Turn right onto the ramp for Route # 30 (WEST). Go (About 25 miles) to I 469 turn right onto the ramp (This is exit 19 on I 469). This takes you around Fort Wayne, Indiana. On I - 469 go to exit # 30 North on I-69 (Direction of Lansing) NOTE: If you want a good place to eat or refuel (About 13.4 more miles) Try this suggestion. Take Exit 129 at Auburn, IN. Turn right at the end of the ramp. There is a good family restaurant called: Richard's restaurant. (MAP LOCATION) if you are getting hungry. Go down the street several blocks. Turn left on N. Grandstaff Dr. About a block on the right is Richards Family Restaurant (280 N. Grandstaff Dr. - Phone 260 925 0341) They have very good food and reasonable prices. Follow I-94 In the direction of Battle Creek. Take Exit # 74 B (US 131) (This leg is about 59 miles) (In the direction of Kalamazoo) Stay on US 131 toward Grand Rapids. Heads up as you are nearing mile marker # 88. You need to be in the far left lane. This places you west bound on I-96 (Don’t confuse it with I – 196) This leg is about 30 and a half miles. Take Exit 1A At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. About one fifth of a mile on the right is the Bel Aire Motel. Watch closely for the driveway. t is a little deceiving with the business place just before you get there. It is easy to turn in too soon. | ||||||||||||||
